HAKAN KARSAK

In 1992, he joined the Ankara Youth Theatre and Yahya Kemal Beyatlı High School Theatre Group and stepped into theatre as an amateur.

Shortly thereafter, he began working as a trainee at the Ankara Art Theatre Acting Workshop. After high school, he entered the Civil Engineering Department at Afyon Kocatepe University.

After graduation, he entered the Philosophy Department of Istanbul University and graduated from there. After the Düzce earthquake, he worked with UNICEF to rehabilitate earthquake-stricken children and young people and worked as a theatre instructor in Düzce for 2 years.

He was awarded the "Best Actor Award" at the 2013 Boğaziçi International Film Festival.
