Written in Italian in 1974, "We Won't Pay, We Don't Pay!" remains extraordinarily relevant today.
By addressing the daily lives and hardships of the working class, who are struggling with constant and disproportionate price increases, Fo criticizes the economic system, but also directs his criticism most strongly at the moderate opposition, creating a political comedy.
